- RX-78 -

The RX-78 is the first and original gundam unit used in the series based on Gundam 0079. When Amuro was the pilot, this unit went through many different types of abuses from this amateurish pilot. It was because the computer of the gundam unit which saved Amuro in most of the fights he was in at the beginning. Especially most fights against Char Anzable and his infamous red comet which was created earlier in my works. The Zaku II; or the MS-06s.

Enough talk, now for the images of my unit under construction.

I was kind of lazy at the beginning so then naturally creating one of the most easiest part of the units first. Which was the one and only jetpack :) This is only the first part of the jetpack. The actual boosters will come in later; they're more easier.

Such as so, the jetpack is now complete! boosters and even the saber holders. Well now on to the bigger things.

The torso is basic and is used in most of every other models. A few tweaks here and there but then it comes out correctly. The abdomen design is a bit more rugged and squared. It doesn't quite have any unique design that would awe me very much, but it may be favored to someone in my small but growing dream corporation.

This is the back view of the basic design. Nothing to it quite yet. Even the sheathes are almost nothing to look at. It was a new unit to that time period and slowly it grows into more unique and more interesting designs.

Currently, the RX-78 has been put off until the right motivation has come. (1/25/03)
